Cj Jelin TQs & Wins at 2018 Fall Brawl


This past weekend was held the 2018 Fall Brawl at A Main’s Silver Dollar Rc Raceway in Chico, California. There was 77 entires from the 1/8 track to the 1/10 track. After 3 intensive rounds of qualifying between Mason Eppley (Tekno) and Cj Jelin (XRAY) it was Cj who managed to take the overall TQ. The A main was a mixed field of E-buggy and Nitro Buggy. The race was only 9 minutes due to the E-buggy. Cj.Jelin was in the lead for the first couple of minutes until he had went wide and M.Eppley passed him. M.Eppley was in first and Cj.Jelin had pit that lap to, so there was a big gap. M.Eppley crashed on one of the back jumps and Cj.Jelin was back on him and he still had to pit. Cj.Jelin drove clean for the rest of the race to take the win from M.Eppley in second while Evan Carton (XRAY) came in third.

Adam Drake doubles at JBRL Nitro Series Rd7

This past weekend was held the seventh round of the JBRL Nitro Off-Road Series at the Central Valley Raceway in Madera, california. The event attracted 110 entries and in the Expert Nitro Buggy and Open E-Buggy classes it was Adam Drake (Mugen) who took the overall TQ. A.Drake managed also to take the win in both classes. In the Expert Nitro Buggy class, HB Racing duo of Anthony Westergaard and Marcus Garrett rounded out the top 3 while in the E-buggy class it was Cole Jenson (HB Racing) who finished in second and A.Westergaard in third.

Tasos Paparegas wins at Central Greece Champs Rd3


Last weekend was held the third round of the Central Greece Championship in Athens. The track had a lot of high speed corners and good grip. Tasos Paparegas (XRAY) managed to take the overall TQ after the qualifiers and then the win by 2 laps from Makropoulos Thanos (SWORKz) in second while Papanikolaiu Ioannis (Kyosho) came in third.

Top 25 Rankings update after Buggyland 5.0

8 drivers inside the top25 rankings attended the Buggyland 5.0 in Madrid, Spain. David Ronnefalk (HB Racing) took the win, which shot him up the rankings landing at #3 in the driver rankings. Elliott Boots (Kyosho) finished second and Martin Wollanka (SWORKz) rounded out the podium.

J&C Yeung sweep M.K. Power champs Rd3

Last weekend was held the third round of the M.K. Power Off-road Championship at the XMG track in Dongguan, Southern part of China, about 90km away from Hong Kong border. Racers from mainland China, Taiwan as well as Hong Kong racers attended the race. This dirt track was newly refreshed with new layout and expanded track size. Thanks for the additional continuous jumps on straight and large corner that make this new layout the toughest test for all racers and equipments. In the Nitro Buggy A-Main final Jonathan Yeung (Tekno) started in second and was able to take the lead in first lap but some minor mistakes push him back in third. The fight for first place was intense with the leader, Quan during the first 20 minutes and the time gap between the two cars was just about 1 sec. Quan suffered a flame-out just in front of the pit entry while he trying to get in pit to refuel. J.Yeung took this chance to take the lead and never look back and able to drive with his rhythm. He continue to extend the lead for the remaining 25min. At the end of 45min race, J.Yeung won the A Main final with 88 laps from Zhan in second 3 laps down and Quan in third another lap down.

Niblett, Miller & Roper win at HNMC Winter Rd1

Last weekend saw the start of the HNMC Winter Series that has come around quick. 50 racers battled for TQ with Lewis Jones (Team Associated) take Nitro Buggy, George Miller (SWORKz) taking E-buggy and Warabe Tatekoji (Kyosho) taking Truggy. In the Nitro Buggy final it was Callum Niblett (Agama) who took the win from Kevin Brunsden (SWORKz) in second and L.Jones in third. In the E-buggy class G.Miller brought home the win from Dominic Powels (Agama) in second while Gary Chapman (Agama) came in third. In Truggy Darren Roper won in front of W.Tatekoji.

AVID carbon fibre money clip


AVID have introduced a carbon fibre money clip. It is made from 100% carbon with a glossy finish to catch others attention and sports the AVID logo screen printed on it. The money clip measures 1.5″ (38.1mm) x 2.75″ (69.85mm) x 0.5″ (12.7mm) and can hold up to 50 bills comfortably.
