Raw Speed unveils new Villain 1/8 buggy tyre

Raw Speed have publised the first photo of their forthcoming 1/8 buggy tyre, known as the “Villain”. The Villain is designed specifically to compete both Impacts and Blockades tyres.The tyre has been developed for dirt surface and features large directional pins increasing the bite and also the steering reponse even on dust, low grip and bumpy surfaces.

SWORKz ST3 Turbo glow plug

SWORKz have addd the ST3 glow plug to their SPower range. Made by O.S. Engines in Japan, the ST3 “Ultra Hot” Turbo glow plug promote better idling and acceleration. If your engine runs rough or accelerates sluggishly, a hotter plug will help. 

SWORKz S35-3 series sway bar sets

SWORKz have introduced new front and rear sway bar sets for the S35-3 series of buggies. The sway bars are made in spring steel and laser etched for easy identification. The front set includes eight different sway bars from 2.0mm to 2.8mm, while the rear set includes of six different sway bars from 2.4mm to 3.0mm.

Joan Espasa continues with 6MIK

French brand 6MIK have announced the contract extension with the spanish driver Joan Espasa. After some success on racing scene last year, Joan will use the new range of 6MIK’s tyres with the already successful Barracuda and brand new Ultra rims and close cell inserts and of course the Optima range of products during the 2018 season.

XRAY XB8 medium hardness composite front suspension arms


XRAY have introduced new medium hardness composite front suspension arms for the XB8. The medium-hardness front lower and upper suspension arms are made from high-tech composite material. The exclusive composite mixture used for suspension arms gives a perfect balance between reliability and performance. the suspension arms are rigid enough for a responsive feel, yet soft enough for extreme durability. The medium-hardness arms are suitable for most track conditions, especially medium-traction tracks. Universal design allows the arms to be used on both left and right sides.

Schimmel & Woodyard win season opener race


Last weekend was held a season opener race at Thunder Alley in Wilson, NC. In the nitro buggy qualifying XRAY driver Brennan Schimmel took the overall TQ in both nitro buggy and nitro truggy. In the nitro buggy final Austin Woodyard and Brennan moved away from the pack and Brennan kept in touch for part of the race and in the end Austin managed to took the win. Despite a extra pit, Brennan was able to take the second place and Ken Rand the third. In the nitro truggy final Brennan clipped a pipe and dropped to about 5th. He worked his way back up and battled with Michael Kramer for a few minutes and started to check out and go on the lap the field to take the overall win. Michael Kraemer and Leornard Murray rounded out the top 3.

Lunsford MBX8 titanium pillow balls & screw sets

Lunsford Racing have introduced new titanium pillow balls and titanium screw sets for the Mugen MBX8. First up are two upper or lower titanium pillow balls. They made of high-quality Grade 5 titanium, machined from center-less ground titanium and feature a nano accurate threading process. Next up are the titanium screw sets. The first set is a 26-piece of titanium screws for the bottom while the second set is a 148-piece of titanium screws for the top. Both set are made of high-quality Grade 5 titanium and machined from center-less ground titanium. The screws feature a hand-fed thread rolling process and they have a broached head.
