Racing Experience EFRA 2135 ‘Hard Black’ pipe sets

Racing Experience have introduced the new EFRA 2135 ‘Hard Black’ pipe sets. Manufactured by Hipex, the super-strong pipe comes with a hard-anodised surface treatment easy to clean and offering great performance with both O.S and also Picco based engines. The exhaust is available in two complete setw including silicone gaskets and mounting springs with O.S. or Picco manifold.

Jessica Pålsson takes Middle Swedish Cup title

Last weekend was held the fifth and finale round of the Middle Swedish Cup at the huge Eskilstuna track. Jessica Pålsson (Kyosho) would sweep the nitro buggy class. J. Pålsson took the overall TQ and also the victory in the 30 minutes final in front of Pontus Larsson (Serpent) in second and Andreas Edvinsson (Mugen) in third. Thanks to this win, J.Pålsson is crowned 2018 Middle Swedish Cup champion.

Jack Embling takes BRCA Nitro Truggy title

The fifth and final round of the Truggy and E-buggy National Championship was held at the RWMCC track over the weekend. After a bad start in the Nitro Truggy final Jon Hazlewood (Agama) fought to come back at the front of the race but unfortunately a broken battery very near the end finished his race leaving Jack Embling (SWORKz) take the win and also the overall championship. Despite his issue J. Hazlewood finished at the runner-up spot for the 2018 season. Matt Lewis (Team Associated) rounded out the top 3.

Maurizio Fantinel appointed as RCGP Race Director

RCGP have announced that Maurizio Fantinel will be the Race Director of the World Series which begins in 2019. The experienced Italian graphic designer and race organiser Maurizio Fantinel has taken on the responsibility of running the show, and the yet to be announced RCGP events. HNMC Summer Series Rd7 report

The HNMC hosted the seventh round of the popular HNMC Summer Series over the weekend. After the qualifying rounds the TQ went to Peter Harder (Denmark) in Nitro Buggy, Erik Lykke in E-buggy and Warabe Tatekoji in Nitro Truggy. P Harder kept his pace in the Nitro Buggy final and won in front of Dylan Saunders in second and Ramon Oliver in third. TQ man E. Lykke managed also to take the win from Hogler Lykke in E-buggy while in Nitro Truggy it was George Ridgeley who took the victory from W. Tatekoji in second.

Neil Cragg signs with Piranha Fuel

Nemo Racing and Piranha Racing Fuels have announced the signing of Neil Cragg to their team. The National, European and World Champion will use the 25% fully synthetic blend to power his nitro fleet.

Adam Drake sweeps JBRL Nitro Series Rd5

160 racers attended the fifth round of the JBRL Nitro Series that was held at the Empire RC track in Brentwood, California over the weekend. Adam Drake (Mugen) would sweep the nitro buggy, the nitro truck and the E-buggy classes. A.Drake took the overall TQ and also the victory in all three classes. In Expert Nitro Buggy A.Drake brought home the win by a lap from Kyle Layton (Team Associated) in second and Carlos Arredondo (Tekno RC) in third. In Open Nitro Truggy A.Drake took again the win from the Tekno RC duo of Kyle Turner and Dean Rock in second and third respectively. A.Drake will end his day with another win in Open E-Buggy. Kyle Turner (Tekno RC) and Austin Blair (SWORKz) rounded out the top 3.
